Dümmen Orange is one of the leading breeding companies focused on cut flowers, pot plants, bedding plants, bulbs, succulents and perennials. For our Global Business Control department in De Lier, we are looking for a:

JUNIOR BUSINESS CONTROLLER

Job objective

The Junior Business Controller supports the Business Control team in all types of activities like sales reporting, cost center reporting, data collection, KPI reporting, Business Intelligence and enhancing the current reporting tools. The Junior Business Controller should act as an active sparring partner, with a proactive, solution driven and critical attitude towards reporting. The Junior Business Controller should be excited about improving and/or standardizing processes and the various reporting tools available in an international and dynamic environment.

Your tasks

• Responsible for accurate Sales Reporting;
• Improve and streamline the current reporting tools;
• Review and improve the data collection and reporting process;
• Project management & ad hoc analysis;
• Play an active role in process improvements of the financial processes and systems (Exact, BI, product and account profitability);
• Support the Business Controlling team in their analysis of the numbers;
• Involved in post-merger integration of tools and reporting.

Your profile

• Master degree in Economics or Business Administration;
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience;
• Self starter, independent and proactive attitude;
• Drive for (efficiency) improvements and able to cope with a demanding and changing organization;
• Advanced user of Excel;
• Excellent analytical skills and conceptual capabilities;
• Able to interact with colleagues on all levels of the company, a team player;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Fluent in English (verbal and written) and Dutch is preferred;
• Flexible and able to work under pressure within deadlines;
• Potential to grow into a senior financial management position in the future.
