Hortilux Schréder, located in Monster (ZH), is the market leader in the development, supply and application of LED, HPS and hybrid grow light solutions for international greenhouse horticulture and indoor farming. Are you entrepreneurial and do you consider creating opportunities in new and existing international markets as a challenge? Are you a team player and do you get energy from capitalizing on those opportunities in new projects together with our partners and installers? Then we are looking for you!

 

The market for grow light applications is developing enormously, as is the demand for the solutions we offer. We have a growth ambition and want to expand our market position in various markets and countries. To develop Hortilux's position as the grow light knowledge expert here as well, experience and professionalism are required. You therefore perform pioneering work in which you analyze where Hortilux has the most potential for the long term and you are also able to convert that into sales. Of course you will be supported by a strong international brand with a decisive organization with a lot of passion, expertise and experience.

You feel at home in an innovative and committed organization and you always strive to help the customer quickly, on time and first time. To achieve this, you work closely with your buddy on Customer Care, Pre-Engineering, Marketing and Operations. You ensure that your customer receives the most suitable solution and you provide high-quality advice.

As Area Sales Manager Export at Hortilux:

  • You have at least 5 years of commercial experience, preferably in a horticultural environment;
  • You function at least at HBO level;
  • You speak fluent English. Another foreign language is an advantage;
  • expanding existing and developing new markets is your mission;
  • You are willing to travel regularly (up to 50%);
  • You know your way around complex DMUs and professional investors;
  • You feel familiar with investment goods and the sale of software and services;
  • You understand that consultative selling requires more than “straightforward” selling.
